How to get to the Isle of Wight

If you are coming by car::

Wightlink has two ferry services; one from Lymington to Yarmouth and the other from Portsmouth to Fishbourne.  This service takes approximately 45 minutes to cross the Solent.

Red Funnel operates from Southampton to East Cowes.  The journey will take approximately one hour.

If you are coming by foot:

Red Funnel’s Red Jet high speed passenger service arrives into West Cowes after a 25 minute crossing of the Solent. Sadly we can’t pick up from this terminal as it is too far from Camper HQ by car on our busy turnaround days.  If this is your only option then call us and we'll make a plan for you to get to us.

To fly:

If you love flying, there are two airports: Bembridge or Sandown

To come by boat:

There are many wonderful harbours on the Isle of Wight including Bembridge, Cowes and Yarmouth

Wightlink's Fast Cat operates from Portsmouth Harbour Station, so if you are arriving by train this is a great choice.  The 22 minute trip will dock at Ryde Pier Head and from their you can either catch a bus, taxi or train to your destination.

We offer all our guests travelling on the Wightlink car ferry, a discount, please ask when you book.  

The Hovertravel service from Southsea to Ryde is the last remaining commercial foot passenger hover in the UK.  Taking approximately 10 minutes across the Solent.  

COVID-19  We ask all guests to follow the latest advice given by the government website.  We will deep clean the property between each booking and have added extra cleaning costs and a later check in time (16.00) to cover this.  We will do our best to make sure every property is sanitised including all touch points to a high standard.  We ask guests to bring their own cleaning sanitisers and to adhere to current government advice.  If any guest is ill during their stay or after please would you inform us immediately.  We are following government guidelines strictly.  Please do not put us or our team at risk.
